Moon Group Distance Reiki
yes, for anyone!
With each new moon and full moon I offer group distance Reiki to whoever wishes to receive it. If you would like to participate - or just want to learn more about what this is - let’s break it down:
What are we doing?
Reiki is, simply, universal energy.
As a Reiki practitioner, I am able to act as a conduit for this energy and share it, either in person or at a distance. When sharing in person, Reiki is most often transferred through the hands, which may be lightly touching or held above a person’s body. Distance sessions simply remove the touch. This is about moving universal energy and proximity doesn’t cause a problem.
The purpose and use of this energy – or ki – is directed by the recipient – there is no suggestion that the practitioner is the one with any magical powers to heal – each person makes use of the Reiki session as it best benefits them!
How do I participate?
This is the really easy part. To join in, all you have to do is set your intention to receive. Simply consciously note that you are open to receiving Reiki from me for your highest good at the next (full or new) moon. You could even set a blanket intention now for the coming year!
I always send Reiki for everyone’s highest good and only to those who are open to receive, to work with it when it is best for them. So, if you are out one night, you will receive it when the time is best. Just like a little distance, a little time is no problem!
Now, as with anything, presence makes it better.
To connect fully, set some time aside and set an intention of your own:
Set aside 30 minutes where you can have the time to yourself, whether that is an evening walk, your bedtime routine, a dedicated 30 minute meditation or even as you are falling asleep.
Reaffirm your intention to receive Reiki for your highest good.
Consider any other areas of focus. This can be anything in your physical, emotional, mental or spiritual bodies that you wish to shift. Reiki is first and foremost about letting go of stress which, in turn, creates the space for a more balanced and connected self. Reiki is not a magic bullet, but I like to think of it as rolling out the red carpet for our best selves to walk a clear path 😁
Pay gentle attention during the 30 minutes. Sometimes during Reiki we simply feel more relaxed. Sometimes we notice different parts of our body, and sometimes we have old memories or feelings bubble up. As the intentions are always for your highest good, there will be nothing that is too much. Notice what comes up. Or, does not. There is no right or wrong and you won’t miss anything if you become distracted during the session.
When do these happen?
Every new moon and full moon! I send in the evenings on the day of the full or new moon. That means, it may be full, for example at 2am, but I will send later that evening.
Most importantly: subscribe to the Dot Matrix (if you haven’t already!) to stay connected to upcoming moon Reiki dates!
