Spring cleaning
inside: dusting off your energy, your earbuds and your management systems

New moon
March 29 marks the first new moon in spring and our next Reiki session after March 13th’s full moon and eclipse. If you had the opportunity to experience that eclipse it was truly gorgeous! I walked out of a concert just after 11pm and looked up at the sky - along with hundreds of others - to see the last sliver of moonlight in a clear sky. It was such an amazing moment to experience with several hundred other concert goers, many of whom were captivated and surprised (we are so often under rainclouds) to see the event.
The new moon is darker sky, but just as important to notice as we consciously release what is ready or necessary to set aside.
If you are interested in a little more, energetically, I’ll share group distance Reiki on the evening of March 29, as always, for your highest good and with new moon “final release to open space to create” intentions. Simply be open to receive!

Warmer weather, books via earbuds
With more time opening up in spring for outside adventures, patio cleanups and general increases in movement, my reading of physical things (books or e-readers) take a dive. And that means more audiobooks and podcasts can play while I’m doing chores or out and about.
There are so many places to get your audio needs met that can fit your preferences and price points (including free!). There are platforms like Audible and the Kobo audio site, Libby, LibriVox, Google Play Books, Apple Books, Spotify, Everand and Libro.fm just to name a few.
Do you have a favourite site to listen to?
Spring cleaning - everything
It’s time.
One of the things that I love to do on a regular basis - just like spring cleaning - is dust off my personal management systems, and specifically my tracking systems. I find that my ways of working have a shelf life. What works for a while will eventually become faded wallpaper and I need a new fresh new system. And, after doing this for many years, I have a nice rotation of methods to shift through.
Right now I’m in the middle of re-trialing a consolidated online notebook vs time-blocking individual tasks. While time blocking gives me the most realistic view of my coming weeks, I lose the cohesion of my projects that a consolidated notebook makes most visible.

The jury is out at the moment and I wonder if I’ll find a both/and solution to satisfy my current workflows.
A few questions for your reflection: what is your current way of managing short term and long term tasks, goals and activities? Why does this work well for you? What might make it better?
