Clear the air
inside: new moon clarity conversations, Pride reads and a little serendipity

new moon, nearly June
This coming Monday is our new moon at the end of May. It’s time to lean into new moon energies of full releasing what we no longer need. Whether we wish to shape these things as
what is no longer needed in our lives,
what we no longer need to hang onto, or
what we are ready to let go into the world,
the result is the same: lightness, greater capacity to heal and welcome what’s next, and separating from people, places or things that could otherwise take up space in our lives.
Use this time for clear conversations with yourself and others.
What are you doing this coming month, season and year? What are you not doing?
Who are you being by setting these intentions and who will you be / will you have changed when you attain these goals?
What you choose to release or carry forward will impact your days and how you live them. It influences how you relate to the world and how the world relates to you.
Okay, that just became rather epic.
Let’s put things back in day to day context. Sometimes an epic declaration or shift is just what we want and need. But most of the time, it’s the small shifts, realizations and conversations that move us to our best selves in the best way. We learn as we go. We get to process what we learn, appreciate what we create and understand when we let go.
On Monday evening I’ll share Reiki with new moon for anyone who wishes to receive, and with intentions for your highest good, and for learning, appreciating and letting go. You are welcome to add your own intentions to best support your goals this month.
If you are interested in a little more, energetically, I’ll share group distance Reiki on the evening of May 26, as always, for your highest good and with new moon “final release to open space to create” intentions. Simply be open to receive!

Serendipitous space
Earlier this month I arranged my summer to ensure I worked no more than four days each week. I’m not planning a vacation until early next year and thought sprinkling my 2025 allotment of vacation days through the summer would give me little breaks without the stress of a staycation*.
I’m also energized by the variety of tasks. For me, working on something different is the same as taking a break. So when an opportunity arose for a little project right after I arranged my days off, it can seem like an ideal chance to do something both fun** and meaningful.
The timing of this project and my days off just felt a little too cosmic and fate-like to turn down. Although there are always other things I could do, these external projects do bring a sense of FOMO with them. My hallways stairs will always be there to paint, but this project won’t.
When you “take a break”, what are you taking a break from? What are the key hallmarks of actions that will re-energize you?
*I’m not good and enforcing at-home vacations; I need to be somewhere else to stop worrying about how much hypothetical work is piling up.
**I get that small side projects aren’t everyone’s idea of fun
