Celebrate and make space for what is important
inside: full moon energy, pride month, audio options

Summer moon
June’s full moon is in the wee early hours of Wednesday June 11 and that means it is time again to think about what is coming to fruition and we is ready to be released into the world over the coming weeks.
What have you been up to? What have you been putting out into the world? If you were to let go of something to make room for your goals and desires, what would you release?
Letting something go doesn’t have to permanent. We are well within our rights to shift our priorities temporarily and simply things aside to focus on what matters to us right now.
I’ve recently needed to focus on some existing client projects, so I haven’t taken on any new audio projects. And that’s okay. My shift for summer is to ensure I have the right space for my current commitments.
As always I will share Reiki for those who wish to receive on the evening of Jun 11, for your highest good and with full moon intentions to celebrate and release.
If you are interested in a little more, energetically, I’ll share group distance Reiki on the evening of June 11, as always, for your highest good and with new moon “final release to open space to create” intentions. Simply be open to receive!
Poison papers
A recent article came across my screen about screening for poisoning books from the past. I had previously heard of arsenic being used in wallpaper to support vivid greens, but it was also used in book binding. And that creates a problem.
Books were previously set aside and sequestered to ensure people’s safety (as we must!) and expensive testing was undertaken in extenuating instances to verify the presence or absence of arsenic and allow a book to be handled properly.
Fortunately it is the physicists who save the day, the books, and their content with a simple tool that uses reflected light to identify arsenic tomes.
Science saves art!
Pride month
It’s pride month and, like the moon phases, it’s a reminder to check in with ourselves and how we acknowledge, respect and support members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, as much as it is a reminder to celebrate and check in on our queer friends and family.
With the full moon, what biases or phrases can you let go of using to make space for inclusive and accurate language that respects everyone including 2SLGBTQIA+ members of your family, community, work and world?
Here are some great resources to start1 looking at inclusive language.
1 the best resource for current and relevant inclusive language is your local 2SLGBTQIA+ organization, your office diversity, equity and inclusion team, or - best of all - your family and colleagues themselves. Respectfully ask and confirm the choice of words and phrases that they determine most appropriate and inclusive.
