September’s new moon and the ends that fall brings
I missed sending a note to you for September’s full moon. I did share Reiki on the evening of September 7 for anyone who was open to receive. In the week leading up to the full moon, I was simply not present to prepare a newsletter. I unfortunately lost my beloved dog after almost a year of increasing health issues we could no longer manage. A few days after saw a small health scare in my immediate family (all is well now). The combination of those two events meant I had to manage my own energy first and foremost.
Needless to say, these past two weeks have asked for a significant focus on letting go as we approach the new moon. Thank you for the grace and time to heal and come back to you here.
For everyone this weekend, the next few days signal shift.
🌑The fall often brings a sense of renewal for anyone even adjacently attached to the school year, and certainly a refreshing breeze at least. But it can come with mixed emotions with the end of summer, the momentum of the year and darker days in the north.
☀️This new moon is also associated with a solar eclipse. This even provides the kick in the butt turning point to create clearing, healing and the moment to reset ourselves - or at least set the reset plan in motion.
🍂September 21’s new moon and eclipse sets up the fall equinox on September 22, as we pivot from summer to fall.
Whether your September has begun with unexpected changes in life, the “usual” chaos of a new school year or a simple ease into fall, what is it time to let go of?
If you are interested in a little more, energetically, I’ll share group distance Reiki on the evening of September 21, as always, for your highest good and with new moon “final release to open space to create” intentions. Simply be open to receive!

Owning your voice
As with everything that AI comes near, the idea of who owns our voice and sound - just like any other content or art form - is a topic of much discussion. This conversation was raised even higher the recently with one audio giant updating their terms to include extensive use of uploaded content.
Whether consciously or through subconscious responses to daily feedback, we shape how we sound - our tones, timbre, pitch, phrases, volume and placement - to become uniquely us and, for character work, someone unique we create.
How will you use and choose to share your voice?

Reconnecting to what I’ve created
Earlier this year, I began setting up a more formal second brain. And I loved it. I set up automations to establish new tasks and project pages, I made placeholders for content development and established a routine.
Over the past few months of significant care for my dog, all of those automations just ….ran. And the piled up. I am now faced with the clean up as I look to reset my life and re-engage with the things that bring me joy and energy.
This will be a good chance to review what was initially set up:
did those automated tasks and project spaces make sense or do they create more work?
do I need to consolidate to one space instead of two (task management vs document management)
With this week’s coming energy, this is the right time to revisit.
